Flooring FAQs
Do you move the furniture and take up the old floor?
Yes. Lifting and disposing of your old floor covering and moving furniture can be included in your upfront price — just let us know the scope when you book so it's all itemised.
Will my doors still close over the new floor?
If the new build-up is thicker, doors can catch. Your fitter can trim internal doors to clear the new floor as part of the job — it'll be included in your upfront quote where needed.
Do you supply the flooring and underlay or do I?
Either works. Supply your own flooring and we'll itemise underlay, beading, trims and adhesive — or your fitter can source everything. It's all in your upfront price.
Is the flooring guaranteed?
Yes. All Fixie flooring is covered by our workmanship guarantee. If a floor lifts, gaps or a board works loose within the guarantee period due to workmanship, we'll return and put it right at no charge.
